Elaine passed away in Winnipeg on February 24, 2026 at the age of 89.
Elaine will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by Bob, her husband of 65 years, and children Dawn and Greg and their families.
In lieu of flowers, Elaine’s family encourages a donation in her memory to one of the organizations she supported, Plan International Canada or Ned’s Wish.
Celebration of Life arrangements will be available at a later date, through Chapel Lawn Funeral Home.

Deepest condolences to Bob and family on the loss of Elaine. Bob was my first NCO I/C in Flin Flon and he was not only a boss but a mentor to a young fresh constable with a young family. His wisdom and guidance was a great foundation. He treated everyone equally and welcomed all into his house with Elaine as the always great hostess. Our famlies shared good memorable times in Flin Flon in the middle seventies and Elaine was always pleasant and welcomed everyone to their home. We know she is in a better place now and will be missed by her family and the many friends she made over the years.
